God allows us to fully open our hearts to love. He puts special people in our lives to help lift us up, especially the older saints of the church who always give words of wisdom and encouragement. This is a sign of love.

Often times we think that they don't understand, but if you just listen to them, it will help you in the long run. God uses them as instruments to shower us with knowledge and life experiences.

Let us lean toward listening to their testimony about life and thank God for their Grace and Mercy. Then we can give thanks for the love that has been expressed through our history lesson. God will be proud of us for taking the time to listen and take heed.

So remember that special someone on February 14th who has taught you how to appreciate God's Grace and Mercy!
