Children
For those who have small children we can accommodate you as well. We offer facilities for infants and for nursing mothers. See an usher and they will lead your child to the appropriate activity.
Pre School is held every Sunday for children that are potty trained to 6 years of age. The program's objective is to provide a religious training class for the preschool age children of the church. We provide an atmosphere of love, caring and nurturing for all children as well as examples of sharing and God's love and His gift of His con, Jesus Christ. They are taught about prayer, bible lessons, the meaning of family, to love everyone, and more, all while being provided with an active playtime.
Children's Church is held the 4th Sunday of the month and is led by one of our Associate Ministers. The children range from ages 6 months to 16 years. The children learn the Bible, hear sermons and say prayers the same as the adults do, but their services differ in that they are geared towards the issues that affect the children of today. While Children's Church is structured, they are unstructured in the sense that the children are free to worship God their way, whether it is through dance, song, or prayer, etc.
So join us for a day of worship and allow your child a chance to be a part of one of the outstanding and innovative programs offered by "The Star." You will be glad you did, and you child will be too.
Parking/Transportation
We have a parking lot on the side of the church and ample street parking for those who drive to worship services. We have security available on Sunday and at special services. We are conveniently located near public transportation.
