Rev. Rasheed Q. Ray
Associate Minister

Rev. Rasheed Q. Ray was born August 28, 1986, to blessed parents, James Ray Jr. and Priscilla A. Bolden. He is a Baltimore native and a proud product of the Baltimore City Public School System. He is an Alumni of the nations 3rd oldest high school, Baltimore City College High School. After "City," he continued his education at Baltimore City Community College in pursuit of a degree in Psychology.

Rasheed was employed with the International Associations of Amusement Parks and Attractions in Alexandria, VA, as the Assistant Accountant and Support Services Coordinator for a few years. He returned home to work for the Baltimore City School System as a member of the Student Intervention team.

Rev. R. Q. Ray accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age at the Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ, under the Pastoral guidance of Rev. Dr. Samuel Ray. It was during the untimely death of his grandfather that Rev. Ray received and accepted his call to the ministry. He now serves as an Associate Minister at "The Star." Rev. Ray lives daily by the belief that the "Lord is his Shepherd, and he does not want." Because of that belief he has had several opportunities to break the bread of life at many venues throughout the east coast; small, large, young, old and to many different persons of different cultural backgrounds.
