Rev. Beverly Cromartie
Associate Minister

Reverend Beverly Cromartie is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She was raised by her father and her paternal grandmother and educated in the Baltimore City School System.

Rev. Cromartie graduated in June 1975 from the University of Cincinnati and The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with a Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science. She matriculated through the John Hopkins University, receiving a Master of Science degree in Neuro-Anatomy.

Rev. Cromartie received her earlier education at New Christian Memorial Church under the pastorate of The Rev. Dr. Walter Bronson, Jr. She preached her initial sermon on August 2, 1992 at New Christian Memorial Church.

Rev. Cromartie joined Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ in August 1993 under the pastorate of the Rev. Dr. Samuel Ray and was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in December 1995, Currently she serves at Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ as an Associate Minister and Assistant Chairperson of the Youth Ministry.

She was married to the late Carl Cromartie and is the mother of three daughters: Lisa, Karla and Delia and the grandmother of Jojuan, who is the joy of her life.

The Lord has blessed her to travel to several states to spread the gospel. She loves the Lord and loves to preach His gospel when and wherever possible.

Her motto is: "Lord, help me make a difference in somebody's life and let people see the difference in me is Jesus."
