Rev. Anna Scribner
Associate Minister

Reverend Anna Scribner is the mother of one daughter, DeAnna Bailey, who is presently a doctoral student attending Morgan State University. On May 3, 2008, Reverend Scribner united in marriage with Deacon Charles Scribner and they became one in the Spirit.

Reverend Scribner is an Ordained Associate Minister of the Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ where the Reverend Dr. Samuel Ray is the Pastor. In recognition of her many God- given gifts and talents, Reverend Scribner is glad to render her service for the up-building of God's Kingdom. She currently serves as the Church School Director, a member of the Board of Christian Education, Women's Ministry Advisor, Youth Ministry Advisor, and whatever else that she can do.

Reverend Scribner has had a long and distinguished career as an educator. She currently serves as a Special Assistant to the Chief Academic Officer of the Baltimore City Public Schools. Her passion for educating children has been a major motivation in her life and tenure as principal in several schools. She has earned degrees from Coppin State University, Johns Hopkins University, and is currently enrolled as a doctoral student at the United Baptist College and Seminary. Her professional associations are too numerous to mention.

II Timothy 2:15 "Be diligent to present yourself approve of God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Reverend Scribner says, "I once was lost but now I am found. I once was blind but now I can see. When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he has done for me my soul cries out Hallelujah, I thank God for saving me!"
