We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction; that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of errors, for its matter; that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us; and therefore is, and shall remain the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried. Church History
1890 to Present

During its 121 years of service to the Lord, the Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ has been richly blessed. Empowered by the everlasting wisdom and mercy of God, four dedicated men have led the church in its efforts to provide for the spiritual development of all who seek the Lord. Additionally, "The Star" has remained a presence in the community it seeks to serve by leading souls to Christ, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, educating young and old, and modeling a Christian spirit and behavior.
