Board Members have been charged by the members of Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ with the various operations of the church. With such an important responsibility, persons selected must individually portray in their personal and corporate life qualities of spirituality, fairness and good judgment. Members are chosen who best exemplify these qualities.

As such, we represent that our board members:

  1. Accept this responsibility willingly.  Only willing members can effectively perform the services that will be necessary.
  2. Are loyal and faithful members of this Morning Star congregation.
  3. Are faithful in their stewardship responsibilities in terms of time, talent, and financial means.
  4. Seek the Lord for divine guidance and courage to make necessary decisions.
  5. Are both ethical and professional in handling the information and decisions you will confront. Members must be loyal to God, loyal to the pastor and elected leaders, and loyal to the members.
  6. Put the interests of the church above any personal interest, for only thus can selfless service be rendered to the church and to Jesus, the Lord of the church.
  7. Always remember the church’s mission in making decisions.
